Concourse Companies, LLC was founded in 2015 by Harry Masterson and Jordan Mack as an operating and management platform for a portfolio of projects focused on land development and long-term project management.
Actively engaged in the Houston real estate market. The Concourse team shares more than 100 years of industry experience and unmatched market knowledge bringing a focused approach, detailed strategy and cohesive execution in land development. Our team has been a part of over 25 developments totaling over 20,000 acres. We specialize in land assembly, community design, marketing and residential development processes as founding partners, managing members and directors of various real estate companies.
Mr. Harry Masterson is a founding principal of Concourse Companies, LLC., and manages the general operations, focusing on long-term objectives and plans, marketing, and industry relations.
Harry has focused on large land transactions and land development since 1995. Harry has dedicated years to the building industry and the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) where he served as President of the Board of Directors. Harry was also the recipient of the “GHBA Developer of the Year Award.”
Outside of the development industry, Harry has served in leadership roles for several community and non-profit organizations, including the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and Da Camera of Houston. Currently, Harry is serving as Board Chairman of Scenic Houston.
Harry is a Texas Licensed Real Estate Broker and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. When not in Houston, Harry and his wife Kathy enjoy spending time at their farm with their daughter and twin sons.
Mr. Jordan Mack is the founding principal of Concourse Companies where he leads growth and financial strategy and is responsible for Concourse Development’s acquisition and development activities.
In these roles, he provides operational and strategic leadership to a team of experienced real estate professionals through underwriting, entitlement, acquisition, development, and sale of projects.
Dedicated to delivering high quality communities and housing where people can live, work and play, Jordan founded his first development company at the age of 27. He is the driving force behind the development of Woodson’s Reserve, a premier community in north Houston, securing one of the largest publicly traded home builders in the U.S. in the process. He also led the revitalization of Woodridge Forest, creating a vibrant community out of a failed investment.
Jordan is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Greater Houston Business Association. He is the founder of the GHBA Young Professionals Committee. In addition, he is the director of Fort Bend County MUD #68, a volunteer for Home Aid Houston and is a very active member of River Pointe Church.
Jordan earned his Civil Engineering degree from Rice University in Houston, Texas, and resides in Sugar Land with his wife Alyssa and their three children.
VP OF DEVELOPMENT
Mr. Steve Tennis is VP of Development for Concourse Development, LLC. Steve oversees project design and planning and specializes in concept creation, long-term artistic vision, architectural controls, and systems for long-term management of communities.
Steve has managed land development in the Houston area for over 35 years. Steve has worked with the Concourse team since 2006. Prior to joining Concourse full-time in 2015, Tennis worked with Concourse on a consulting basis while he was Director of Planning and Platting at LJA Engineering, Inc, with a staff of 22 employees.
From 1996 to 2007 Steve was VP of Land Development for Taylor Woodrow–Houston where he was responsible for several significant projects including Avalon and Sugar Lakes in Sugar Land, Avalon at Seven Meadows in Katy and Mar Bella in League City.
Steve was the Director of Planning and Platting for LJA Engineering & Surveying, Inc. for six years prior to joining Taylor Woodrow and was with the engineering firm of Turner, Collie & Braden, Inc. for 13 years in several land development roles prior to joining LJA.
Steve has served on the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Parks Board for the City of Stafford as well as the Fort Bend County 911 and Land Design Committees of Sugar Land.
DEVELOPMENT MANAGER AND LAND ACQUISITIONS
Mr. Jonathan Schumann focuses on development management of Woodson’s Reserve for Concourse Development, LLC., where he oversees and executes the planning, design, construction and operation of the community.
Jonathan brings land development knowledge and experience from Taylor Morrison where he delivered approximately 700 lots annually throughout Grand Vista, Avalon at Sienna, Avalon at Spring Green and Stillwater on Lake Houston. While at Taylor Morrison he was responsible for managing a 2,311 lot portfolio and development budget of approximately $150 million.
Prior to Taylor Morrison Jonathan was Chief of Staff for Fort Bend County Commissioner Andy Meyers and a Project Engineer for Costello, Inc. Jonathan is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, earned a Civil Engineering degree from Texas A&M University at College Station, and his MBA from the University of Houston.
Jaime Virkus is Marketing Director of Concourse Development LLC, bringing a long history of land development marketing experience as well as knowledge of homebuilder promotion and homeowners association management.
Jaime joined Concourse in 2017 after marketing roles with leading homebuilders McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc., Darling Homes and Gracepoint Homes. She began her career in residential real estate in 1997 with Johnson Development Corp., where she served for 15 years in a variety of capacities, including marketing director for five Johnson communities — Sienna Plantation, Cross Creek Ranch, Tuscan Lakes, Imperial and Edgewater — and interim community manager for the Sienna Plantation Residential Association.
These developments won many industry awards and posted impressive sales gains during Jaime’s tenure, as she employed analytical and creative techniques to expand market reach.
Jaime is a member of the Houston Association of Realtors, an active volunteer, serving on the Board of Directors for the Sales and Marketing Council of the Greater Houston Builders Association since 2014 and a board member of Missouri City Management District #1. She is a past member of the Fort Bend County Junior Service League and has used her extensive event planning expertise to help coordinate various community fundraisers and chamber of commerce events.
Mr. Cassidy Cryer is the operations manager, responsible for land development lot take downs for Concourse Development and managing reporting for the Concourse family of communities.
Cassidy, who joined Concourse in 2012, is active with the Houston Softball Organization volunteering much of his free time on the board of directors.
LAND ACQUISITIONS MANAGER
Mr. Rich Mack is the land acquisition manager, responsible for identifying land acquisition opportunities for Concourse Development and acquiring marketable properties to grow the Concourse family of communities.
Rich, who joined Concourse in 2017, is a licensed Texas real estate agent and has 40 years of experience in sales. He has been married to his wife, Cat, since 1974, and the two have four children and five grandchildren. Rich is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
